The primary base station Home, in this example is connected to the Internet via your modem or router. If you can't restart using AirPort Utility, just unplug the base station for a few seconds, then plug it back in. Here's how to make sure that your base station is up to date. You can now completely disable it so that ethernet connections will not recognize a link from the ethernet port on the AirPort Express. Removing this file will not harm anything, and its removal will result in AirPort Utility using default settings, which may help fix the problem.
